The markets are pricing in an expected tax rise and/or difficult autumn budget, as well as poor manufacturing data and better than expected eurozone inflation numbers. So it's not just one thing, but several smaller things all in the same direction.

Yeah, I'm a rugby fan and have been avidly watching the WRWC, but there's no way in the current climate I would fly an English flag. The biggest reason people don't fly the English flag is that it has become tainted by association with the far-right.

It depends on the charger; with an ultra-rapid 350kW charging station you can be at 80% within 15 minutes, and that's from near-empty (80% charge when fast charging is usually the aim point, for battery longevity reasons). But those chargers need substantial industrial power supply.

The short answer is that a Solar + Battery solution struggles to deliver enough power to fast-charge economically, especially at scale. To do that you need to have something akin to industrial supply, which remote fuel stations won't have.

Again - the reason that the Good Friday Agreement locks in the ECHR is that the UK had repeatedly been held accountable by the European Court of Human Rights for human rights breaches during the Troubles - while national courts had failed to do so, even upholding miscarriages of justice
