Wage growth isn’t stagnant because of stimulus, inflation, or social safety nets. Government has failed to govern and has let companies run wild becoming the literal embodiment of greed. Pegging wages to productivity, capping executive compensation, banning stock buy backs would hep solve this.

Prices are already increasing. We had a deflationary period after the recession and a return to healthy levels of inflation.

Wealthy liberals need something to validate that it’s ok for them to be wealthy while children starve schools get defunded and both parties support genocide. But they want it fresh so not the million other media outlets that serve this exact purpose.
We need a transformation in worker rights and compensation regardless. That transformation also does nothing for people who are unable to work for any reason. Those welfare programs are being cut right now using the same language you are using.
Government stimulus has been implemented time and again without major inflationary pressure. Cost would not be an issue with a proper tax code and coupled with universal health care could provide small businesses the ability to thrive without having to pay for healthcare.
None of the things you’re citing are actual issues with UBI except cost just now. You’re not citing concern for potential increases in poverty because of a lack of means testing. A poorly implemented UBI could indeed make things worth but evidence suggests it could make things much butter.
We are in neither stage. So are you advocating we only advanced to the first stage? Are you saying we don’t have enough productive capacity to provide a decent living for everyone? Or were you perhaps using the quote to imply that people should only provided for if they can provide for society.
The people who actually do research on UBI propose a UBI pegged to the poverty line. It’s the earned income tax credit that’s refundable. Tax credits only benefit people who file taxes. You’re bringing up completely unrelated things to because your anti-UBI position isn’t evidence based.

It’s “free money” applies to virtually nobody.
They also both require you to file taxes increasing costs associated with administering, what you, laughably, call a UBI. Lastly implementing a UBI doesn’t require us to eliminate these TAX credits.
The EITC? Not the EIC. The ACTC is capped at less than 2K per year per child which wouldn’t even remotely approach what a UBI would provide and would even come close to touching the cost of the child for the year. EITC is also paltry compared to what a UBI would afford individuals.

Need being the key phrase. Resources distributed to people based on their need not their contribution. Their contributions are expected to be in line with their abilities.
Do you know the current asset limits imposed on people who receive SSDI? It would be immensely ignorant to advocate for the system as it is currently formulated to continue. The system traps people in poverty. Universal income and healthcare would go a long way towards solving that.
A tax refund is not the same as a stimulus is not the same as a UBI. Universal healthcare and universal income would eliminate the need for most disability benefits. Do you know the state of disability benefits currently? Are you familiar with a the concept of a spend down.
