Buying physical is certainly the answer whenever possible, but I also wouldn’t call platforms transparent about this. There was this belief that things on the internet would be there forever, and no matter what happens, that belief seems to still exist.

Regarding cutting down, I don’t have a good cutting board or a real dark room, so I’m hesitant to try. But it would make sense financially to buy a cutting board if it saved me from using positive paper exclusively.
I actually asked Lukas that and he said he changes the half tray he uses every 25-30 photos. Which surprised me. I thought it would exhaust faster. I haven’t been pushing it that far.
I’ve watched several of his videos (which are great), but his channel is a bit unwieldy. He goes years between project updates and it’s hard to follow along. Where did you order it from? I’m hesitant to have to cut down larger sheets.

Yeah, all roads online seem to lead to the afghan box camera project. Which is a great resource, but Ive been surprised at how little I’ve been able to find outside of it, and a few YouTube creators.
And now I’m excited to see what instant camera you create.
Ive been surprised at how hard it is to find good information about these online and I expect the various names are a large part of that.
I was thrilled to get a fairly nice image on my first try! I really feels like magic. Can’t wait to get some more practice with and try some different papers / filters.
It is! I’ve been wanting one for years, but I don’t really have the tools for woodworking and this eliminated 90% of that. Just the push I needed. Still took me 20+ hours over a couple of weeks to build it, but it was as close to an Ikea build as you could hope. With a few personal alterations.

I’ve been building an instant / afghan box camera (with some help from my 4 year old assistant) and I finally got to the point that I could test it out today. I made it to shoot on 4x5 photo paper, so it’s not technically #FilmPhotography.
