Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑
at least we got digimon world next order and digimon story cyber sleuth on steam, but yeah it would be wild and wonderful if we got the even older stuff too. like i'd love it but i can't see it ever happening.

and again, nobody's gonna notice or care about how 'clean' your art looks if they can tell what it's supposed to be and it makes them feel things. it's art after all, not a technical diagram. a lot of the most famous art is quite messy!
so try not to worry about imaginary rules and just do your art the way it is most enjoyable for YOU. maybe your brother enjoys doing lines a certain way that makes them very clean, but you're more like me and rendering is the part you like, so the lines are just rough guides and don't really matter.
hey no problem, i draw too and i get it! but art is about the beauty in 'errors'- all an art style is is errors the artist chose to make- what aspects they focus on and how they skew reality. what matters to you, what you have fun doing. no point in making art that looks just like someone else's.

nah, your stuff looks super clean to me and unless it's so scratchy that there's multiple lines overtop eachother and folks can't tell what they're looking at anymore, you're good. nobody really notices how clean lines are and it takes SO much more time/effort to do.
i'm glad you're not mad, cuz that is genuinely such good news. been wanting bandai to finally realize that digimon is popular enough overseas to make it worth it to make it more available to us and this sort of thing will help with that a lot.
but for you in particular probably more just cuz you're well-known and that's how things work, or even if not with the fame tax but rather this deck is meant to be manufactured en masse and resold.
assuming this is a traditional playing card deck so a majority of the cards are just the same thing copy pasted into a number pattern.... bare minimum 500-900$ depending on detail of the art style

literally the only reason i hadn't done this ages ago is cuz the ascent 2 sash is black and that's my favorite color and most of the other colors look bad with my outfit :V kinda good thing i waited on ascents 5-7 tho cuz the ability to pause and the balloon bunch item really came in clutch.
peak finally gave us the option to choose which sash we wear instead of being locked into the highest one we've earned, so i speedran ascents 3-7 solo, finally 100%ing the game! HUGE thanks to @kylinvartilo.bsky.social for the background emotional support during ascents 6-7! #PEAK

i am still completely mystified by circuit boards. how fancy metal rock make pictures and words appear on screen? like we got all these fantasy worlds where they inscribe runes onto rocks to make magic spells work and we are living in exactly such a world right now. it is so wild.
it just needs to be an actual specific gift card for a non-grocery store and not one of those 'spend this basically anywhere' ones.
can't go wrong with the classics! i'm not a big x-evolution fan but it was interesting, and it does introduce and focus on a big fan favorite digimon- dorumon. i would definitely recommend you watch the tamers anime tho if you haven't already, it's another real good one.
i used to bash gift cards for being cash with more steps, but now that i'm older and pretty much buy whatever i want/need when i want/need it and thus have no good gifts for people to get me, i love being 'forced' to go to a new store and find something i like that i wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
most gift cards aren't like that, but i'll definitely stay away from that one.
yes that's the problem with cash op was pointing out. being able to spend it anywhere means you're probably just going to get something you would have gotten anyway. gift cards force you to buy an actual gift for yourself by forcing you to shop at a specific place you normally wouldn't.
i live and breathe digimon to be fair XD there's a movie all about it, if you want to learn about it naturally. x-evolution. it's got old/early cgi graphics and was originally meant to be a series so the pacing's a little weird, but it is still enjoyable. or i can give you a very quick summary :P
TECHNICALLY there's 4 if you also count the x antibody version, but to me that's more just a variant of classic while sorcermon and flame wizardmon have their own typing, both element and attribute wise. flame's not just a recolor tho, he's an armor evo.
if you're feeling extra artsy you could even throw in a flame wizardmon, collect the whole set xD (man i wish flame would be in a game soon... just so i could have the full set together)

dunno where you got the 'they can modify themselves at will' thing cuz that isn't how it works, but also even if one looks like a cat and has a lot of cat features, it isn't actually a cat, so it shouldn't trigger an allergy. they're other-dimensional beings, not earth animals.

i and all my best friends have watched and played both pokemon and digimon and these are the conclusions we all came to. i'll play pokemon cuz it's a monster collector and i like those, but only digimon has designs i actually LOVE and stories that are truly engaging and make me care.
even pokemon fans tend to grow frustrated with it as they mature since its main goal is blanket appeal to the largest consumer base (kids), but digimon maintains its appeal with experimentation and more intense... everything. people only bash digimon cuz they expect it to be pokemon and it isn't.
pokemon for children, digimon for adults. they both have their merits but at the core pokemon is only more popular because they crank out content regularly and it's all shallow, while digimon is less consistent and is led by muse, allowing for deeper stories and more interesting designs.

honestly true for a lot of regular digimon too but x antibodies take it even further. digimon in general seems to let the designers just go wild and they make such incredible designs without holding back, which does lead to them being a pain to recreate, but man... so cool/pretty...
yeah that's why i and most other fans will usually recommend the original not the remake. the characters are just written a lot better, the new one is more just flashy modern animation but it takes away a lot of the charm.

also fun fact, apparently there's that many mcs because they wanted at least 2-3 girls but at the time it was expected to have a certain ratio of boys to girls in lead roles so they upped the number of boys just so they could 'justify' having that many girls.
yeah, the original did a much better job of balancing roles, and the reboot feeling more like an obnoxious tai story with extras is one of the most common complaints i see about it.
yeeeah, some of the sub names i jive with and some i don't. like gatomon will always be gatomon to me cuz it makes sense and tailmon just doesn't sound as cool, but vamdemon makes WAY more sense than myotismon and was changed for extremely stupid reasons.
i don't think it was cut but it would be easy to miss an ep or two when they originally came out
story/world/survive is like, the style of game, not a particular storyline typically, i think (maybe that's what you meant but i wasn't sure so figured it couldn't hurt to clarify). i don't think this game will have anything to do with cyber sleuth except maybe an easter egg/cameo.
