Yes! We live in Austin. My daughter, who was auto admit to UT, secured her spot at UT as a safety, but opted for college in a blue state that respected her medical autonomy. My son, who is a senior in HS, also doesn’t want to stay in TC because of the politics.

I have two kids who are the same. The alarm clock I bought them was called the Sonic Bomb and they still slept through it. My college kid started using the Alarmy app and it’s been a game changer for her. She has to solve puzzles and stuff to turn it off so it actually wakes her up.

Luttnick went to Haverford College which is a (very good) liberal arts college that does not convey business degrees. A liberal arts college is supposed to teach students to think critically, but I think he missed that day of class.

I almost rolled my eyes/chuckled at his "no masks!" comment. In my experience as a parent, even the most liberal colleges haven't had mask mandates for a couple of years. However, a lot of kids mask voluntarily when sick, which is the considerate thing to do!

I would think that there are more than 150k disabled Americans working. Maybe physically disabled, but disability is a much broader term than that. Autism, severe food allergies, diabetes, and ADHD all fall under the umbrella of disability. Some of the best and brightest fall into those categories.
