Back in the 90s it used to be really good. But they changed the recipe and now it's just gross. Still scalding hot though, so at least you can still get 2nd degree burns on your tongue.
The way I’m doing it is kind of a back door way to do it. I’ll get my MDiv from a non-Episcopal seminary, and then I’ll have to go to one to take a few more classes. People who are ordained in other denominations have to do that before they can transfer their ordination to the EC. I might do Duke.
Episcopal seminary is usually 3 years full time residential, but that doesn’t work for everyone (and really needs to be changed). After seminary there’s an exam, more interviews, and then final approval from the bishop. Since we don’t have one right now, everyone here is on hold until after Jan.
In the Episcopal church, it’s a whole journey! Normally you have to get the approval of a whole bunch of people—the bishop being the last one—before you even start seminary. I know I want my MDiv regardless, so I started seminary before I knew if I wanted to be ordained.
Learn to recognize what your body feels like just before a panic attack, and some tools that work for you to stop it or lessen it. Full-blown attacks are rare for me since I figured out how to know when one is coming on, and a couple of things I can do right away.
Another 2ish years at least. Maybe longer. My diocese doesn't currently have a bishop, so I can't start formal discernment until we get one next year.

I bought some clothes and more and more, I'm moving toward a capsule wardrobe. I think it's time I just lean into it and stop trying to find clothes in colors other than navy blue and grey. This is just who I am now. (I mean, if I get ordained, it'll make perfect sense anyway, right?)

Ah. I’m very familiar with that one. Mine mostly said it’s a lovely combination of depression and peri-menopause. I think we’re just at the life stage when we’re perpetually tired. She did run bloodwork just to be sure my numbers are still normal (for me).
