Ja, en ondanks dat hij op Linkedin zegt dat het fulltime is vertelt hij in een interview dat hij 3 dagen per week docent techniek is. Lijkt me meer parttime. En hij is niet alleen minister van onderwijs, maar ook cultuur en wetenschap. Maar hij is ook hobbyboer las ik… 🙄

Huizen en tuinen beslaan 8% van ons land. Landbouw en veeteelt beslaan zo’n 65%. Het merendeel van onze landbouw is veevoer voor de gigantische veestapel. Stel dat we 5% van het landoppervlak zouden afnemen van die landbouw en veeteelt. Dan verdubbelen we bijna het oppervlak om te wonen en bouwen.

Same with counters. Arrive 15 minutes before the polls close, first time you meet the people you will be counting with. After the last vote the counting starts. Everything is counted by hand by different people twice, when there’s a difference, 2 different people will count a third time.
Volunteers man the polls, you can register as a volunteer and what region you are available for. Then 2 days before the election you get an email telling you to what station you are assigned to. You have to be there at x time and report to the chairperson. So you don’t have a clue who else is there.
In the Netherlands we vote on paper ballots and they are all counted by hand. But we have voting districts for basically every 1000 people, so counting of an election takes 2-3 hours.
But they have to pay taxes, right? Wasn’t there something about taxation and representation?
