The tragic loss of children’s lives in the Minneapolis school shooting is a moral call to act. Congress must pass real gun safety laws, ban assault weapons, close loopholes, and invest in community safety. Protecting our children is more important than protecting the gun lobby.

If a president wanted to become effectively a dictator, he’d likely: 1. Purge govt of non loyalists 2. Weaponize law against opponents 3. Use military to police opposition strongholds 4. Threaten media, schools, businesses w penalties to get them to heel 5. Change election rules in his favor.

Exactly! My entire undergrad degree from 1986-1990 cost me around $6000, including books. One 3 hour graduate class, starting in 2002 cost me over $1100. Have no idea how much all this costs now but know it's way more than all that.
