For those of you not familiar with AA, we pick up a chip at every meeting we go to for the week of our anniversary. I’d been skimping on meetings last year, but I’ve gone to 3 meetings in 3 days. The reaction as I celebrate my birthday is encouraging me to participate in more meetings. 1 of 2

For once, I’m not on the naughty list.
Unfortunately, it’s very real here in the US. I’ve had to live with people assuming that I’m a certain way because I’m a Southern woman for most of my life. Now, you have me all up in my feels, this is exactly why my only prejudice is against prejudiced people.

In Florida, the humidity & the temperature become kissing cousins during the summer. I’ve heard that the summers are much less humid in the Northeast than in the South.

Long nap after school, woke up at 8:30 pm. The crab story would at least be entertaining. The Worcestershire sauce story is just because Brits love the way we Americans say Worcestershire sauce. 😁
That’s a no for me, I’d be afraid of taking a step backwards into thin air or my chair scooting off the ledge. Falling into the sea while chewing my food just seems terrifying.

My Chloe was a hairy beast. She loved being brushed, too.
This isn’t the food that Southerners eat at home, this is a generic commercialized version of it. Southern cuisine is very different from state to state & even within different regions of a state. For example, the cuisine in North Florida, where I live, differs from the cuisine in South Florida.
We tried some when we were visiting Scotland. Well, actually we poured some onto a spoon & it resembled diarrhea, so none of the three enough would try it.
Mine started when I was 47 after having a hysterectomy. My first hot flash occurred when I wasn’t even fully off the anesthesia after the surgery.
I’ve visited Fife & Edinburgh. It’s quite lovely, but the weather wasn’t.
I live in the state of Florida, in the US.
It sucks, but then again, I’m menopausal, so I r fed to sleeping in the Floridian summer as making sweat angels.
I’m awake, of course I think I’m about 5 hours later than English time.
