I've spent enough time online reading what cyclists say to put the blame for the few bad things on consumers and the cycling media. Manufacturers are chasing demand. High-end buyers want things that look cool, and mid-range buyers want what the high-end has.

The rubber bands used in MTB tire packaging are perfectly suited for this. Bottle cages on their own always hold bottles all the way up until they don't. Secured bottles will not come out.
Gravel cycling hack: A rubber band to keep bottles from ejecting on rough descents...especially seat tube mounted bottles. Either take the band off and put it around your wrist for reuse that ride or just let it snap down around the bottle bosses.

Are you wording this to intentionally troll? That is a rifle peep sight that is designed to be used with the eye a certain distance from the rear sight. They're unusable if mounted to something held at arm's length because of the size of the aperture.

Yes it does, both practically and legally. Peep sights don't work when you hold it as a pistol. Which is proof that people intend to use them as SBRs instead of pistols. The NFA isn't outdated, people just want to do operator cosplay.
What's really weird is that an AR is pretty long, even with a short barrel...and the shorter barrels make them not work as well and generally worse to shoot. Is it practicality or just cosplay?

I still use the bike stand (and truing stand) I bought in the 90s, best investments ever. A multi-tool and a stand is better than nice tools and no stand. Buy a repair stand, people!
