Thinking about gig workers in DC right now. The situation has put some clarity towards my long-held feelings: If I were aware of a business model which relies on putting its workers in precarious positions, I would not contribute to that business model's demand.

To be clear, I am not saying this is a Good Movie. It's a low budget, low quality, Point Break knock off. But I do love it.
His work on this film built a multi-billion dollar franchise, and his decreasing interest in being the Serious Actor™ at the heart of it is why the last film is probably the final film in the series.
I think my favorite thing about the first Fast & Furious movie is that a man calling himself "Vin Diesel" thinks he's in a serious dramatic role, while everyone else is collecting a paycheck for a throwaway street racing movie. And it works.
