Thank you. Believe me, I don't want to handle it, but we do what we have to, right? Just having a sad day today as I go through more of the process of closing out the administrative parts of my parents' lives.
Both parents died in 2025, w/in 3 months of each other. They'd been divorced for more than 50 years, so 2 estates, 2 trusts. What keeps me going is knowing that I'll get through it. But this is devastating - & I never know which words, activities or thoughts will activate the knife wound of grief.
I'm a martini in the sunny months, manhattans in the not sunny months, but I'm game for anything!
