I think that if they notice at all, they see it as a further sign of how the common people don’t have what it takes to understand and appreciate greatness.
I put together one once where all the stereotypes was changed to random groups not associated with anything. Hilarity ensued.

As a swede, it’s so baffling to me that much of the rest of the world have still to grasp how useful heatpumps are. It’s an easy install, highly efficient heating method, based on simple physical laws - what could possibly be confusing people?
Of my STEM students, 50% are enthusiastic about AI as a help with most things and 50% thinks it should only be used as an advanced autocorrect.

Still, as late as the 1980s it was difficult to even find science fiction. There was only one publisher in my native language that dealt in SF. Ordinary bookstores didn’t have it and thus it was revolutionary when the first dedicated SF bookstore opened in my nations capital 🤩.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the Earth 400k years ago. The problem is that humans evolved to live in the climate we have today, and we built our infrastructure for today's climate. The same goes for the animals and plants that we love and love to eat. Climate change is pain for everyone.

The common cold is caused by various corona viruses. We won’t get rid of covid, but the virus will continue to give milder and milder symptoms - ending with causing colds just like the other viruses of the same type. This process has happened before and will very likely happen again.

In environmental science 7 weeks is normal and 1 week would be seen as extremely fast. It’s interesting that expectations can vary so much. In the 2000’s a year’s wait was not unusual.
This division is common in Sweden. There are Technical universities for engineers, Economic universities for economics, Medicinal universities for healthcare, and Universities for the liberal arts. It’s not uncommon for engineers to also take a philosophy course but the reverse is very unusual 🤷♀️.
I’ve realised that having a feeling for how a text is supposed to sound, how to get it to flow well, is mostly having read a lot and thus having an intuition for the probabilities of different words following each other 😔
Worked great for you! I kind of come to think about Isaac Asimov, though, who bragged (when famous) that to this day he does not know how to write. While it worked fine for him too – in retrospect I think his writing would have benefitted from some course on writing 3-dimensional characters.

The US has a terrible track record when it comes to putting powerful politicans on trial. So why would they worry? And the not so powerful politicans can rely on the weird presidential pardon power.
The state have built nuclear plants, so why not solar power. In the Nordics, municipalities already build solar power and charging stations. No need to nationalize anything, just add a political goal of a certain amount of solar installed and let the municipalities own energy company handle it.
