My boys were babies when Thurston happened in 1998. Still babies when Columbine happened in 1999. My boys are now grown, but they are still my babies. I thought Columbine was the absolute worst it could get. I was wrong. It definitely got worse. Life in the country is horrifying.

Suffering the consequences of putting off the Christmas meal prep until Christmas morning. I usually bake pies and chop/prep all the veggies on Christmas Eve. I've been baking and prepping and cooking since 6am this morning and now I'm cranky.
