No we were just lucky. I know a lot of people died (most of them needlessly) but it was just covid. Compared to most things that cause pandemics covid is relatively mild. It's going to be bad when we do away with vaccines and get hit with something way worse than covid.

I don't expect sympathy I know others have it worse. It's just gotten to the point where I can't do anything. I lost most of my 20s and all my 30s. It just is what it is. Then there's the feeling of being a burden on my parents between medical bills and student loans.
I've perforated twice the second time I almost bled to death. Then came the broken leg. Then my 2nd resection. Then came cancer. I've been on just about every treatment for crohn's. Now I need another resection but I'm pretty much out of intestines I can lose without things getting worse.
I can't tell you how many nights I cried myself to sleep in scalding hot showers begging for death until I ran out of hot water. Meanwhile I was working 2 jobs and trying to finish school. Finally got diagnosed when I graduated worked until I was 30 had my first surgery and it's just gotten worse.
I used to be different. I used to be optimistic that treatments would work. But I suffered for 5 years before I ever got diagnosed. Was constantly gaslit by my doctors... basically told to suck it up buttercup... to the point where I just stopped eating.
So I'll never see her because the doctor is the only time I leave me house... well that and I get a hair cut every now and then. And when I die I want a small funeral which I'm sure it will be but no one from my past is allowed to come pretend they give a shit now. I'm not going to be an inspiration

I was a freshman or sophomore when Fulmer got fired. I was there for the borderline riot when Kiffin took off for USC. I even worked for tn and loved it. I just got really sick and had to move home or I'd still be there I loved my job. Then on top of the autoimmune disease I got cancer.
