Yeah, I had this happen to me when I first got going. I got things on track by searching for more things I wanted in my feeds, and spending way less time on the Discovery tab. After a week, I started to see more of what I wanted and less of what I didn't. Hope this helps!

I think about that quote a lot. It's not accurate to say nothing came of it. Beck's deal with DGC had direct ties to Seattle and K Records, and represented a sea change for artists that followed. Yeah, there were still predatory contracts, but bands had more options. That's the change I noticed.
