My kid was born right as Trump entered the race in 2015. And we won’t have any more kids specifically because of the damage he and the GOP have inflicted on the US and the world. They have the nerve to wonder aloud why birth rates are low and it’s a sign of how disconnected they are from reality.
Not just young people: People with children are also losing hope that the future will be safe or anything to be proud of. My kid should be learning to code; instead, he’s learning to can so he has the tools to navigate a future where food safety and security will become less certain.

My understanding has been that Democratic Party voters tend to use mail-in voting for its convenience; and GOP voters tend to rely on vote by mail because they’re less mobile and/or live further from a polling place. Not sure where to look for data on that.
