Feel like this is relatively boring, but: a private island. One with a forest—not a tropical island. Then, I would spend the rest of my days cataloging the trees, plants, and all species of animals inhabiting the island.

I think it's important to note that Venezuela is saying this didn't happen. They've recovered no debris, and they contend the video appears to be a deep fake. Yet crucially, the US media is mostly avoiding reporting this, or examining the video. www.cbsnews.com/video/venezu...

Hilariously predictable how “based on my observation…” includes zero examples (video, image, post?) to demonstrate what he’s talking about. His entire political worldview is just making up something to be mad about. All that money and he’s pissing away his One Stupid Life on manufactured victimhood.

It’s a dystopian circus of unattributed mental illness, Pick-me Xtremists, and pseudoscience; an uncanny valley situated between “AI slop” and something future anthropologists may or may not describe as “technically, human communication.”

Same. I wish the response from Dems would be more like “Flooding the streets with soldiers is a heavy-handed approach that diminishes quality of life. When cities were on lockdown in 2021, we saw crime *and* COVID cases drop. Does that mean we should approach every problem with totalitarianism?.”

My kid was born right as Trump entered the race in 2015. And we won’t have any more kids specifically because of the damage he and the GOP have inflicted on the US and the world. They have the nerve to wonder aloud why birth rates are low and it’s a sign of how disconnected they are from reality.

Not just young people: People with children are also losing hope that the future will be safe or anything to be proud of. My kid should be learning to code; instead, he’s learning to can so he has the tools to navigate a future where food safety and security will become less certain.

If we can’t tax the hell out of billionaires to fund our needs, then people need to be paid much higher wages. For some reason rich people think they can avoid taxes AND pay people shit while expecting a functional socioeconomic system. Rich people and the stock market aren’t “the economy,” Mark.

The wealthy don’t want to hear about how tax rates were much higher for them during the post-WW2 economic boom. Thanks for pointing out how—despite higher tax rates for the rich at the time—FDR to Eisenhower to Kennedy all presided over growing economies and a flourishing middle class.

It’s true! We can say both: a) Bolton played a part in fouling the institution that’s being used corruptly to persecute him; AND b) What Trump is doing—abusing the FBI to settle a petty personal score—is wrong no matter who’s the target.
Twanald (@doodoobrain.bsky.social) reply parent
It’s okay to change tactics in response to valid criticism, Democratic leadership! No one is going to accuse you of “flip-flopping” if you suddenly decide to start actually criticizing Trump.
