If you know California voters, tell them that if Trump rigs the next election and Republicans keep Congress, they will most certainly not certify the election in 2028 if they don't like the result. No one is saying gerrymandering is good, but unilaterally disarming could be the end of our democracy.
This is true and it isn’t only California- every state where Trump mandated gerrymandering is possible needs to take action to fight back. Many states are too far MAGA to spend resources on but those in play need attention.
That is the horrible truth. He is not good for America and not for the world.

This is fascinating because the general impression was that Modi was beholden to Trump at all costs. Now Modi is not only resistant to Trump but seeking a closer relationship with nominal enemy China. Trump is helping create unity in the world but it is all against the US. America Last.
Does anyone think that soldier from LA is going to willingly attack the community of people he came from because a MAGA commander tells him to? Her family is fair game because a Trumper tells her they are?

Haba was in the courtroom with Trump and seemed to be ascendant while Pirro was basically unemployed after her intoxication episode. Now they are in complete opposite positions. Trump loyalty- ha!

Vance does not inspire the confidence of anyone including Trump’s inner circle or MAGA at large. We as a country would be leaderless and in danger of our enemies taking advantage of it. Our military would be either frozen or turning on itself. It would be ugly.

The only reason both Bessent and Lutnick are around are because they have no shame in kissing Trump’s butt openly and profusely. Neither seem to have any true expertise in economics- they are there to prop up his ego.

Where’s Trump?
It’s fun to see the mockery of Trump’s absence but if he is seriously ill and in danger of dying we are screwed. The civil war that will emerge in the administration will be worse than a foreign enemy invasion. Who will the military listen to or will there be a complete loss of command and control?

As much as I dislike Maher now, in this analysis he is sounding an alarm every American citizen should hear. This headed in a very frightening direction very quickly. Trump learned from 2020 and he is making sure it doesn’t happen again.

Lavrov is simply clarifying the position that Putin told Trump to take, first in Alaska and then on the mid-meeting phone call. Trump’s mention of security guarantees was to distract from his complete failure to secure a ceasefire (not to mention distracting from his Epstein files problem).
