If you know California voters, tell them that if Trump rigs the next election and Republicans keep Congress, they will most certainly not certify the election in 2028 if they don't like the result. No one is saying gerrymandering is good, but unilaterally disarming could be the end of our democracy.

It may not be a fair comparison but the difference in how Haba and Pirro have been treated is stunning. Haba was in the courtroom with Trump and seemed to be ascendant while Pirro was basically unemployed after her intoxication episode. Now they are in complete opposite positions. Trump loyalty- ha!

Vance does not inspire the confidence of anyone including Trump’s inner circle or MAGA at large. We as a country would be leaderless and in danger of our enemies taking advantage of it. Our military would be either frozen or turning on itself. It would be ugly.

Tariff inflation needs to be the go to descriptor for the rate going forward. It should be used by all legitimate news sources without fail. We know MAGA media won’t because tariff inflation is being caused by Trump’s policies but everyone else should.

Lavrov is simply clarifying the position that Putin told Trump to take, first in Alaska and then on the mid-meeting phone call. Trump’s mention of security guarantees was to distract from his complete failure to secure a ceasefire (not to mention distracting from his Epstein files problem).
