@woozleweasels.bsky.social I had bought some little tshirts for Maddy after her surgery. They were too small. She’s 23 pounds and these look yorkie size. Rather than send them back I decided to donate them to someone in the diabetes canine support group I am still in 1/2

No rest for the wicked. My mom said that too. We are lucky we have quiet neighbors. So you have early neighbors on both sides. My dogs go out early but don’t bark. Even if the squirrels or deer are out there they just stand there and stare at them.

I miss my contacts but my hands shake too much from the Parkinsonism.
Back to the eye doctor, all the exam results went into a computer which actually has some AI to it. It can compare your test results from year to year. They took pictures of the inside of my eyes and the computer stored that and showed it . I just thought it was so cool.
Dinner was a kale salad with strawberries & blueberries. Then we had grilled cheese sandwiches. The kale came from the farm.
My eye doctor went well. My glasses were probably five years old and I really couldn’t see. It was a new doctor for me & she was very good. Got new glasses… bright blue frames. No glaucoma. Baby cataracts.
Apropos squirrel! I used to have eye glasses like those.
I think I have cataracts but my previous eye doctor never talked to me which is a reason for this new doctor. Plus this new doctor is closer to home. Rest up!

You have done nothing wrong. Sadly there was probably nothing that could have been done for Rikki. Even if the vet had done a better exam when you had him see Rikki, it sounds like the Mass was too big to do anything. You did the kindest thing for Rikki. 1/2

We picked our ashes up at the vets but then it was in town so not so bad. I had to pick up my SIL’s ashes. I sat her in the passenger seat and talked to her all the way home. Will Jim go with you to pick up Rikki’s ashes?
I’m glad you slept. When will Rikki’s ashes be ready? That will be a hard trip to get his ashes but it will be good to get him home again. We have all our dogs ashes at home with us. Try to rest after groceries and take some pain relievers.
