I’m feeling so much lighter than I was a month ago. And I’m willing to take a risk and hope it continues In any case, I will continue to remember to breathe and know there are people out there who won’t let me fall too far
And the dealership cut me a deal on a new transmission for my 3-month out-of-warranty car. A third of what they were originally quoting. It’s still a hit to the budget/savings, especially when added to the butt surgery bill, but it’s doable without having to ask my parents for money
After a few months of absolute shit, this week was a little brighter (sorry, I can’t make myself be more optimistic than that. History/anxiety/superstition, you know the drill) Husband had a good job interview Minni’s surgery went well and she recovering better than I could have hoped

As soon as we hit the dry crunchy grass outside the vet’s, she dropped it like it was hott and tried to scoot it. Managed to get a leaf stuck to her ass. Both activities (scooting and leaf adhesion) are forbidden for 10-14 days. She’s a rebel
The surgery went well. The incisions are horrible looking, but that’s expected right now. She has extra stitches because they found a small butt lump once they shaved her, so we got that removed since she was already under
