I would read an academic thesis on the concept of ‘Constantine’ classified as horror with loving interest, but of course still stick with my gut. Although a quick check of Wiki does list C as a superhero film with “supernatural” elements, so you might have an army of undead wiki folk attacking you.

You really might like the waterfall loop of Ricketts Glen in PA. Yes it can get crowded on a weekend but it’s amazing the number of falls you can see.
Yes that makes sense. Well fed bears don’t go scavanging around humans. I’m trying to battle the invasive barberry thickets and porcelainberry vines taking over the the parks. It’s all related. The thickets grow so densely the forest shrinks and dies, less food less territory for both.

I have a bear bell now when I hike alone and not chatting. Looking back, I was so naive! My dad grew up in Montana and told me even a mild mannered black bear could be risky if she’s got her cubs with her. He also said bears don’t like charging downhill. They know their momentum is against them.
I’ve noticed these gorges are steep and the forest just suddenly stops. Hiking at night or carelessly on a rim trail would be risky yes

Yes, saw a black bear and her cubs about 20 yards up hill, 3 mos ago. She didn’t see me but I saw her and her cubs. It was my first bear encounter and I was so dumb I thought you *always* sounded your bear horn?! 🤷🏻♂️ So I blasted it, she saw me, cold stare, made a fake charge at me. I backed away.
