‘COVID lockdowns hurt Dems’ does nobody know who was President in 2020? One would think that Trump’s first term was only 3 years and Biden and the Dems ran the country for a year before they were sworn in in January 2021.

Unless they keep the Guard there for years, train them in policing, put them in the areas where crime is occurring and provide funding to alleviate some of the conditions causing crime, it will be a 2 or 3 month show. And a show Ds must oppose because it is ‘Democracy Porn’ at its most vile.

Why is it that Democrats get into political trouble when we try to follow the Golden Rule of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” as well as the Platinum Rule “Do unto others as they would want done unto them"?

Trump doesn’t need to be explicit. Michael Cohen told us that Trump speaks like a ‘Mob Boss’: “Trump “doesn’t give orders. He speaks in code.” & we know the code It is to remove anything that denigrates the white race and to remove anything that praises black and brown people.

Colorado did remove him and the State Supreme Court approved it. However, the SCOTUS ruled that only the U.S. Congress could exercise article 3 of the 14th Amendment and remove a candidate from the ballot. Another of the SCOTUS ruling giving Trump cover since Rs in Congress would never do it

Dsdid that twice. That Rd in the Senate failed to convict is on them. DOJ got two indictments against Trump & would have gone to trial but for the SCOTUS giving him immunity And the SCOTUS ruled that only Congress can remove a candidate from the ballot for insurrection Rs are to blame for Trump

Why do you use the term ‘Let them off’. All were investigated and decisions made not to prosecute because of legal reasons. I don’t want a ‘DOJ of Retribution’ like Trump’s. What is needed is to strengthen the laws which now make it difficult to charge and convict for these types of things.

“And the decision not to prosecute was made by career DOJ prosecutors, not by Attorney General Merrick Garland or other department leaders.” As it should be in an ethically run DOJ, The DeJoy case was a statute of limitations one along with issues that are easily found in a quick search.

Explain the ‘letting Trump off two statutes of limitations’ The census issue was decided by the Supreme Court in 2019 The $120m involving things that were covered in a settlement in 2016 The DOJ made the decision not to prosecute Gaetz because of multiple issues easily found by a quick search…

It would not have made a difference if Garland had started earlier. The immunity would have been earlier Expanding the Court requires Congress to pass legislation. At no time did Ds have 60 votes to pass it. Blaming Ds for not doing something they can’t do helps Rs. Let’s focus on Rs today.

Stop blaming Garland. DOJ charged 1,500 J6 participants getting 1,300 convictions & two cases going to trail against Trump for documents and J6 That the RWingers on the Supreme Court granted Trump Immunity is not Garland’s fault. Even if he had acted earlier, the immunity would have been earlier.
