AI is not improving their services, they've just built more vendor lock-in so managers put up with the longer support cycles.

Do you need a million paths of OAuth? If you're making a game, you just need something to determine if your users are logged in. Steamworks will do most of this for you. Save the extra providers till after you've launched. You can always just do straight email / password till then.
