In America, we don’t use federal agents to intimidate citizens out of participating in their own democracy. Yet more than a dozen Border Patrol agents showed up Thursday in downtown LA at a rally Gov. Gavin Newsom held on congressional redistricting an event that had nothing to do with immigration.
He and his base are so siloed they don’t realize just how virulent the resistance to their policies is. They have based their entire agenda on a faulty understanding of how government and economy works and what it takes to control an extremely diverse and independent citizenry.

One thing I resent about AI is the implication that humans are too stupid to think for themselves—even though everything AI generates is aggregated knowledge gleaned from humans. And the lack of the ability to discern fiction from fact, or come up with novel interpretations or solutions.
There seems to be little support for it among the troops. This has got to be killing morale.
