Rumor has it that Trump is going to start a huge crackdown in Chicago probably the same day as the Sept. 3 Epstein victim press conference. Violence over the weekend in Chicago after Gov JB Pritzker said they didn’t need the National guard. I can’t help but wonder that Trump goons were involved

It’s very simple. They cater to their base and that base is shrinking. They govern by fear, racism, and bigotry and IT WORKS. Ds need a more forceful and cohesive strategy for the midterms and beyond IMO. I think Trump torpedoing the bipartisan bill w/o being in office was an opportunity Ds fumbled.
Of course not, but as I said the other day, it’s certainly better than him starting World War III…..

The riot was created out of thin air? Many people are fed up with a current system. It’s unfair. Our leaders are unethical and corrupt. Money is too important in our society and the disparity is getting worse. Go back and read President Grant’s inauguration speeches. He could be giving them today.
They are very much connected IMO when discussing the priorities, civility, and fairness this country should be collectively working toward to name a few; and what kind of country (and world) we want our descendants to live in. Enjoy the day.

Corps don’t pay their fair share of taxes nor do the rich. It’s hard to calculate the deaths based on unsafe products that are rushed to market (Tesla cars and trucks for example) or the shady denial of warrantees and medical benefits, etc. That tax money could go into fixing roads and bridges.
Like I said, I’m not condoning violence of any kind. IMO, a 17-year-old kid should not be walking the streets carrying an AR 15 semi-automatic rifle. I read that the executive had recently boasted to his shareholders how he was maximizing profits by screwing people out of benefits.
I guess my bigger picture view was meant to be discussion is about gun control and corporate greed. Those issues are both out of control IMO and need to be addressed. People can argue all day on the details surrounding each and every individual act of violence and greed and the varying laws.

I did not watch the entire thing, but at the eight minute mark, the senator explains in detail the number of wire transfers into one of Epstein’s accounts that totals the number of transfers talked about on the Internet. He does not mention that they came from Trump, which is my point.

Time will tell. Some days it certainly looks bleak. Patriots are working behind the scenes to legally oppose efforts to eliminate mail in voting. Ds appear to be consistently winning special elections and hopefully there will be an open primary to allow voters to make an educated choice for POTUS.

They are a huge and hard-working voter block in my opinion, at least the ones that qualify for voting which I assume may vary from state to state. The Rs trying to eliminate mail in voting is another joke. I think Lincoln was inaugurated in March because it took that long to count all the ballots.
I don’t know, which is part of the problem, right? The Ds always have a messaging problem IMO. I read in 2022 “illegal” immigrants (or the appropriate and human way they should be referred to as) paid an enormous amount of taxes (approx $100 billion), but could not get access to most services.
This post/claim appears to be false from what I have researched online via articles, etc. The actual audio does not appear to mention Trump specifically…. This is part of the problem: what is the truth? and how easily false narratives can be created by anyone.

The reason I bring this up now, is that it appears Rs like JD Vance, and others are still beating that drum: immigrants are taking away our jobs. Before that, they were eating the cats and dogs. Ds have to come up with an effective strategy for the midterms to respond to the rhetoric IMO.
Looking back, Trump ordering the Rs to kill the bipartisan boarder bill before he was elected revealed 2 things: Rs would do anything he asked; and Trump was going to run hard on an anti-immigration platform. I don’t think the Ds responded effectively to all of that. Many Trump voters were Hispanic.
