An international day of mourning would be appropriate. (Everybody grieves differently, and it's no one's place to question others' traditional mourning rituals that may include dance music, booze, fireworks etc.)

That's where we surrender our power. LPC/NDP can write us off, CPC can take us for granted. Nobody has anything to gain or to lose from how they deal with our concerns. That's how the current equalization formula was born. CPC could bring it in with no pushback, LPC saw no reward for changing it.

She should call an election with all her proposals for Alberta Pensions, Prov Police, privatized healthcare, Sovereignty-Not-Sovereignty scam, and outright separation up front in her platform. Put her UCP government on the line. THEN, if she wins, she has a mandate to talk about a referendum.
