Anteeksi, kanaalitunneli! Osmo Soininvaara arveli 2008, että Helsinki–Tallinna olisi halvempi rakentaa kuin Chunnel, joka maksoi nykyrahassa noin 13,5 mrd €. Nyt tuoreimmat arviot Helsinki–Tallinna-tunnelin kustannuksista on jopa 20mrd. Olisi kiva, mutta epäilen, etten näe tätä elinaikanani.

there's a website called the library of babel that used an algorithm to come up with every single possible combination of the 26 letters in the alphabet + commas and periods. it then sorts those into rooms/shelves. the combos don't "exist" in a sense until you search for them

My grandfather’s brother moved to Brazil in the 1950s and my great-grandmother visited him there once, I think. By ship, from Finland. Going back to that will be a fairly massive shift. Almost 10% of the EU population are born outside the EU, this plus everyone with relations that have moved out.
Someone care to explain, will this mean that the EU is tearing up their own standards, or ”just” a waiver for US cars to be sold? In Finland and presumably other EU countries there are already loopholes for importing US pickups that don’t get approval for normal sales.
