#Septopolis Elmwood is a mid-size city on a large bay; it's one of many cities on the bay. It's diverse and thriving, with many different populations groups. There's a large lake (semi-man-made) frequented by selkies and the occasional mer (they usually swim in the bay). Elmwood is for a series.

Ah! In the end, I either just cut nori sheets in half and wrap the onigiri myself, or I just skip the nori and get right to the shoving the delicious food into my mouth. (I think I'm hungry, actually. Maybe it's dinner time.)
Joan Grey (@joangrey.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh! I put plastic wrap into the mold first, then shove in rice and smush it up against the sides, leaving a gap for the tasty tasty filling. Then another fistful of rice to close the top, fold over the plastic wrap and press hard with the mold lid. This way, it's already wrapped for later.

This is buried in a comment stream about US trains and non-car transportation. Many USians would be excited to 'take the train', 'drive less', 'get healthcare', 'take time off to protest at the nearby country capital', 'not go into medical debt'. Unfortunately, the US doesn't have these things.
