The only sourdough I’ve enjoyed was one made by Jackson’s - i buy their bread as it’s palm oil free - but sadly they discontinued it. I see that sourdough contains lactobacilli bacteria which provides much of the flavour which explains why I don’t like it as I dislike anything with ‘off’ milk in it!
After my last blood test in December I switched to wholemeal but I have to say I’m getting a bit fed up with it now! I like seeded wholemeal but sometimes the thought of white crusty bread is unbearable! 😹
When I used to come home from school at lunch time mum would get me to pick up a large seedy twist from the bakers, by the time I got it home I’d almost eaten half of it by pulling it out of the soft end 😹

The shop next to my school sold them individually, thruppence each i think they were. I believe they were 4 shillings for 20 then in about 1967. I used to spend my lunch money on them.
Yes like they stopped the sale of packs of 10 cigs. I suppose it’s good as it makes it harder for children to buy but then they allowed the sale of disposable vapes for a couple of quid. Despite their being banned in June put disposable vapes into Google and there’s loads of hits.

They’re always a bit cheaper if you buy them in the supermarket, Camel are £17.75 there but in tobacconists they’re £19.60🙀 Marlboro are a similar price. After the next budget they’ll probably be £20 a pack.
I haven’t put it aside but it’s satisfying to know. I used to smoke Camel Blue, I used to stock up on trips to Europe and my German and Belgian drug mules would keep me going but after Brexit they got so expensive I switched to B&H Superkings which are about £4 a pack cheaper at ‘only’ £14.50!

😹😹 I’ve always suffered badly with frequent URTIs but had no idea why until I had private blood tests in 2015 They tested for things they don’t usually and one was immunoglobulin A. I have pretty low levels which explains why I get so many and so badly. I’d forgotten how horrible they are.
