What goes out of these two lines should be: .where("(text LIKE ?) AND (text LIKE ?)", "%a%", "%b%") Where the first string is the condition and the other two are parameters
Shouldn't be, the words get passed as parameters for the '?' in the main part of the condition, and ActiveRecord or the Pg library should escape them
Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest

Basically a lot of combinations and edge cases ๐ an account could be deactivated, then it & its posts seem to be gone, but can be back at any moment, when it's suspended it also could, but when it's deleted then it can't. And at first glance most of these look the same, "this post doesn't exist".
And I met this older guy who makes amateur radio transmissions via morse code and can read and send it really fast ๐ (but he says there are young people who can do it much faster still, there are some meetups and competitions and they specifically train for this ๐ )
I loved this space exploration section - I was kinda shocked that: - it seems that for a long time USSR was ahead of USA, hitting many "achievements" first, until they were overtaken - and soo much of this happened in like ~15 years, from zero to Moon landing! and then we somehow lost motivation?โฆ ๐

I'm trying to add error handling to the code which downloads all liked posts, to figure out exactly why a post wasn't downloaded, depending on what the PDS says about the post/user and what the AppView says about the post/user (deleted? suspended? deactivated?)โฆ and it's starting to look like this ๐ซ

I'm not a big fan of making that kind of binstubs for every binary somewhere in the project directory, and `be` (as opposed to not adding it) ensures that it's run in the right version as listed in the Gemfile if you have more than once in the global gems folder.
I think there's a few different ways to do that, and "the right way" / "the Rails way" changed more than once, like some other things in the Rails world did too, depending on the team's current mood ๐

macOS really insists on automatically autocompleting 'lycan' to 'lycanthropy' whenever I'm typing the name anywhere ๐ซ ๐บ
Gets an encoded public key from user's DID doc and wraps it in some OpenSSL nonsense so it can be fed to the `jwt` gem which verifies the token. The OpenSSL part is what I have no idea why it is this way, because it's much more than just OpenSSL::Key.new(file)โฆ

ATProto may live on if Bluesky dies, but it will see nowhere near the same level of adoption as it would if Bluesky thrives. That is why Bluesky does need revenue and for that it needs growth.
