Back in the day (I'm talking before Inauguration Day 2025) it was understood by lawyers for the Justice Department that the big no-no was being evasive or even outright lying to the Courts. I'm disgusted with the transcripts that demonstrate that DoJ lawyers have become comfortable doing that.
@ldadorg.bsky.social has gotten lawyers disbarred. They filed a complaint against Bondi in Florida (where she is licensed) but of course the FL Bar refused to hear it. But I agree, motions for sanctions must be filed against these DOJ hacks.
Not only is it a stain on the profession and the Department, but it represents cause for Rule 11 sanctions which at worst will cause these attorneys to be disbarred. I again call on opposing counsel, and the judges on their own motions if necessary, to remind DoJ lawyers of their obligations.
