Don’t see why it wouldn’t. You cld make a full recipe and freeze half for later or make lots and divide them for freezing into whatever # of cookies you want. Me? I always want all the cookies! One of my faves is cake mix cookies. Red velvet, lemon, carrot cake or brownie mix cookies. So good/easy!

My daughter’s mother bakes, decorates and sells sugar cookies. When she makes cookie dough she makes a LOT, wraps it in plastic wrap in lumps big enough for 12 cookies then freezes them. Thaws out as many as needed to make up an order.
