Agreed, I think one big problem here is analogizing these things to books is a categorical mistake. We know that 1st amendment doctrine considers factors like imminence and foreseeability of harm in certain contexts and given that, the interactive and real time nature of the product is important IMO
Why is that different for the guidance counselor? If his ideas are that teenagers should be able to kill themselves if they want. If you make a product that will reliably generate these āideasā in response to foreseeable user prompts I do not think it is equivalent to a book advocating for suicide.
