The day that tape was released, I met with a group of women friends, and about 1/3 shrugged it off as "lockerroom" talk and thought the rest of us were overreacting (& after the other creepy stuff he said). They voted for him, of course. Needless to say, I don't count them as friends anymore.

I'm sure you're right. Most of the people I knew in TN were transplants from blue states. Quite a few of them have aged into more conservative views, some of which I believe has to do with finding "Jesus" in their local churches. (More then a few of them have retired and moved even further south.)
