These 2 sound like my sons when they were teenagers, trying to BS their way out of something stupid that they did.
Looks like a hand full of fluid with a lot of old bruising. The coverup is a little better but you can still see it.

I was with my dad near the end while he was in the hospital. He was really mixed up. Sometimes he knew it was me but then he thought I was an old girlfriend. We had an afternoon of strange conversation. Then he looked at me and said “What did the angel say?”
We have one like that too. She was 2 lbs when we rescued her a year ago and now is a mountain lion.
He somehow manages to not make any sense and still be disgusting.
I’m a nurse and this stuff drives me crazy. People don’t want to trust someone that has 4 yrs of premed, 4 yrs of med school, 3-5 yrs of residency, plus board certifications, + yrs of experience. They would rather trust some rando wack job they saw on the internet. My mom died of pancreatic cancer.
She just doesn’t want you to leave the house as well.
And they have to make everything political! You could say it’s a nice day or the food here is fantastic and somehow that opens the door for them to start with their crazy right wing talking points. They can’t help themselves.

I live in her district. After Joe Cunningham won in the 2018 Blue Wave (1st Democrat in 30 something years), the Republicans heavily gerrymandered our district by cutting out any AA or Hispanic areas and attaching them to James Clyburn’s district. That’s how she won.

This sounds like what my son goes through when he has a discussion with his MAGA coworkers. He asks them to back up the dumb stuff they say and they answer with “You’re a communist”
I’m an RN. He has a lot of edema in his hands, lower extremities, and his face. It could be heart or kidney failure. I think he’s getting IV Lasix to try and pull the excess water off. He looks like crap and that will just get worse.

I just had the super duper flu shot (because I’m over 65) with Covid. Same thing. My arms really hurt. Moderna continues to knock me out every time I get it but my doctor said it’s a good thing…shows that my immune system is strong. And it’s worth it.
Yep! She did a whole tour here in SC right before the election to brag about all the benefits that were coming. She left out the part about how she voted against it. She lies about everything and if anyone calls her out on it, she goes on a screaming hissy fit.

I’m an RN. It could be a couple of things but looks like heart failure to me. Lasix can pull some of the water off but it’s temporary, won’t cure it. He does look terrible.

RN here. 2 yrs ago a scientist (worked for Exxon Mobil) tried to explain to me that there were 2 very good medications (ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine) that worked against Covid and the vaccine was dangerous. It didn’t go well and I honestly lost a lot of respect for him.
We have that here at the beach. Forget hearing the ocean. I bring my noise canceling headphones to keep from losing my mind. The worst ones crank it up loud then go for walks or play way down by the water.
Call from the wife of my spouse’s best college friend last nite. He’s a Type I diabetic who had heart/kidney tx 5 yrs ago f/b a stroke. He was rushed to ER last nite for possible seizure/stroke after outpt procedure that went well. I was scared to death. After eval in ER, all is well. No stroke!

She’s unfortunately my rep. Besides being useless, she’s also a very cruel person. But she made sure to make the local rounds around here to brag to large utilities about how much federal money was coming (from Biden’s bill) to them. Of course, she and our useless senators all voted against it.
My dad flew for Pan Am. I can still remember him explaining to me as a little kid back in the 60s about vapor trails and why they look different. He said it’s a combination of how fast and high the plane is, the air temperature, humidity, and winds.

My dad passed in 2007 before MAGA. No doubt he would have voted for Trump. He had to take early medical retirement and began to watch Fox in the 90s. His whole personality changed and I couldn’t figure out why. I watched “The Brainwashing of my Dad” doc and it made me realize what had happened.

It was the same back in the 80s in south Jersey for the Gloucester County Times. Our kid left the envelope either weekly or monthly, can’t remember. I’d see him early in the dark, in winter, gloves off folding the papers into the plastic wrap thing. He was about 12 or 13. Never missed a day.

I still remember how sick I was back in the 60s with measles. Laying in my parent’s bed with my 2 younger brothers and my sister. The smell of rubbing alcohol, how much my eyes hurt, the doctor standing in the room, the sign on our front door-quarantine! My brother ended up in the hospital. So sick!
