When we reestablish rule of law in the US, one of the reforms we should make is a law capping CEO compensation (salary, options, etc) as a fixed multiple of that of the lowest paid worker (employee, IC, whatever.) If CEOs couldn’t make more than 20x the minimum pay, you’d see wages skyrocket.

Realistically, RoboCop is the one that's made the biggest impact. Even as a kid I could tell there was more under the surface of "robot policemen shoots baddies" even if I couldn't understand it, and over time it's been the film I point to as sparking my interest in analyzing the medium.
