I'm old enough to remember a time when Miami-Dade Cubans would gather by the hundreds on SW 8th St. with their flags and their signs and their bullhorns to protest if there was even a hint that the U.S. Government planned to send any Cuban back into the arms of the Castro regime. Now they shrug.
