Sen. Warner needs to show up, accompanied by national press and a phalanx of armed U.S. marshals who know the mission and will not take "no" for an answer (and not accept even two minutes of delay) regarding his access to the NGA facility.
Critical Rationalist (@noncynic.bsky.social) reply parent
Absolutely. The Trump presidency is the most successful KGB/SVR covert operation in history. As Putin's henchman, Trump is sabotaging the entire U.S. government. Russian-backed agents of chaos are running DoJ, CIA, NSA, CDC, DoD, Social Security, etc.

Russia's full-spectrum, pedal-to-the-metal campaign of disinfo and hate mongering has been going on in the EU and U.S. for years. Russia covertly supports virtually all right-wing fascist media (Murdoch etc). It has been spectacularly successful. The Trump presidency is just the best example.

Well, not quite that simple. It's a continuation of this classic scene: youtu.be/ol2WP0hc0NY
Critical Rationalist (@noncynic.bsky.social) reply parent
Correct. And unlike the GDPR, which has "de minimis" exceptions (businesses not targeting the EU, businesses with such a small footprint of users that compliance would be burdensome), AFAIK the MS law does not. You're also right that MS would have trouble collecting fines from overseas violoators.

The evidence is preserved. All flights are logged and preserved both publicly and on private ADS-B databases. Everyone who is responsible for these flights will eventually be brought to justice. The Nuremburg Trials are a good precedent, but in the 21st century we have much more extensive records.

Although Musk and Thiel may be working with Putin, I haven't seen any concrete evidence of that -- unlike the situation with Trump. Musk and Thiel are pursuing their own agendas, but from Putin's standpoint they don't realize they are helping Russia. Hence "useful idiots" from a KGB/SVR viewpoint.

BTW there are no "opt-out procedures below." Also, just because someone wishes to sign a petition, that does not necessarily mean they wish to become a "subscriber." That's the way it is IRL (offline). Why not have a privacy policy with the option to opt-IN ?
Critical Rationalist (@noncynic.bsky.social) reply parent
I did read your privacy policy! Thanks for the response but I suggest that YOU read it too. StandupFS reserves the right to use information it gets from people who sign, augment it with info it gets from third parties, and pass it to others. Once it's shared, opting out with Standup is pointless.
