Talking to friends yesterday and we were discussing how in the enthusiasm of youth you love bands (or other art), then peer pressure persuades you that you were wrong, then as you grow up, you realise that you were right all along. Supertramp for me, but I never abandoned Rush. Sorry Supertramp.

Obviously a band with different eras, but even towards the end they were recording songs like 'Home By the Sea (parts one and two)' that were still pure prog. TBH, I prefer Yes and King Crimson from the 70s prog era, but still an influential band. Prog tunes are good, which is why I'm a Rush fan. 😜
