Police misconduct has a very large place in online political discourse (and it should!) but there’s very little discussion of where the good cops should come from.
I don’t know much about Jewish life, but basically every mainline Christian church has seen a steep membership drop off among younger generations. I’m a happy churchgoer myself (TEC, a pretty progressive denomination) and I wouldn’t suggest that a survey of us was representative of broader society.
Even worse, these people’s idea of an ideal lifestyle involves everyone driving F-350s from a 2400 sq ft home on 3/4 acre, to an office job a few miles away, then back.
It really seems like Long Covid is concentrated among people most inclined to describe themselves as believers in long covid; it’s not that it is/isn’t real (defined by evidence, sometimes interpreted rightly and sometimes not) but the desire for it to be real is secondary to a broader narrative.

The short answer is that there’s nothing environmentally wrong with young men. College, jobs etc are largely meritocratic. There’s a surplus of terrible influences telling boys and young men to act in destructive ways, but that’s a demand problem and a competition problem.
