Another reason why kids hate Shakespeare.
Years ago, I was put in such a terrible classroom that a student came in a little late, looked around, looked at me, and said "who did you piss off?"

Good point. My guess is that Trump has in mind only the top-tier schools. From what I can tell, there's very little interest in colleges and universities farther down the academic ladder.

Forgot to add that I dropped the extra sugar. Not necessary, given the sweetness of the onions.
Here's the link: for the sauce, I substituted chicken stock for water. Also, I carmelized the onions for about 3-3.5 hours. cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1018...
I got the recipe from the NYTimes. It's actually pretty simple: pork, ginger, garlic, rice cakes, and kale. Plus, a sauce of gochuchang, soy, and chicken stock.

I have my Shakespeare students do a short video of them reciting 10 lines. One chose Shylock's "Hath not a Jew eyes," speech. She recited the speech against a black background with a menorah in front. With each way Jews are like Christians, she lit a candle. She also gave me this gift:
