Depends: are you a person or an AI generated piece of shit?
That's what I thought. Fuckin' bots.
What did you think? You should try a Snickers, you're not yourself when you're angry.
You're from Rhode Island, the state with the greatest number of citizens of Italian descent per capita? You should've known better than to say what you said about tomato pie, Philly, etc. Intellectual laziness is the curse of your generation, and those that follow.
Which generation am I? You sure do make a lot of assumptions.
Too young to use your whole brain. That generation.
So how old am I? Since you're using your whole brain?
So again, which generation am I a part of? Let me guess, the same as yours, old man. Why are you so angry?
Another 20 years, and maybe you'll have learned how to read before you speak. If not for yourself, then for the people who might not know to read your opinions very cautiously, then go read what you left out.
Also, there are 38MM people on BlueSky. You should find someone to argue with about this subject other than the literal PIZZA AND PASTA guy.
Dude, you jumped in here and started making assumptions and accusations. I can do this all day. You're the one dropping f bombs, assuming I'm a bot and of some generation. I wasn't looking for an argument from anyone.
I was trying to cure the misinformation you spread. I expected you to hide when you read my comment, lick your wounds, and learn from your humiliation. My mistake. In your case, hubris trumped self-respect.
My grandparents, straight from Sicily always made this. They used special big black pans. It always had a wonderful crust and everyone wanted the crispy corners, and they made their own dough.
Of course they did. You are wise, and a welcome voice of righteousness in this world of bad takes!
Thanks! My aunt has the pans and she makes it on holidays. Been trying to get those black pans to make it for years. She won't give them up.
LOL! She's wiser than you are! I thought about buying one, but I realized I'm more a fan of Detroit-style than of sfincione, so I bought one of those pans, instead, and I use a sheet pan for my tomato pies. Works well enough for my purposes.
They were her mothers after all, but I still beg for them. 50-70 yrs of seasoning on those pans.
I absolutely understand. My grandmother's cast iron went to one of my aunts and then to my cousin, who doesn't even cook. I'm holding out hope for an ancient cast iron Dutch oven from a Cajun body of mine who just refuses to die.
