My PS journey started a few years ago. Been gaming since I was a little kid, but stopped in college. Afterwards, I planned to get a GameCube and my buddy talked me out of it and I got a PS2, and loved it. So I’ve missed out a on a lot of Nintendo games, but don’t feel any fomo at all.
Speaking of Mario kart. The new sonic racing game had an open test period last weekend before the game comes out. That was hella fun! Omg! So good! Very Mario kart like. I played the multiplayer for like 3 hours yesterday. Chaotic but fun!
sonic!!! i haven't played that in ages!!! i can't even imagine what the latest iteration of it looks like i'm not a big gamer...always just played sports games and usually with buddies over
I honestly couldn’t believe How much fun I was having playing the multiplayer mode. I’d consider buying the game, but not at $70. 😂 nope, nope, nope!
yeah, that's too much...i'd say $30 to $40 is OK for a game otherwise, better things to use $$$ on
The average was about $60 for a full game experience. The industry as a whole bumped it up to $70 a couple years ago, and then Nintendo comes in and is like “nope! $80”. And when that happens, they flood gates open.. I hate it.
agree...it kinda takes the 'fun' out of what you're actually paying for and for once, it's too bad i won't be able to pick up the switch 2 in japan since it's cheaper there - the unit apparently only handles japanese text and not multi-language like the ones sold here 😔
Yup! the responsibility priceed one and the international version. They played that one smart, so no need to worry about tarrifs and other stupid shit. They can look good to Japanese because they did that. I’d get the Japanese one, but when I game I want to use English sometimes. 😂
man! i wish i could read japanese just so i could get the J version...but all good how's the overall coverage of the US been in japan thus far? i know the japanese media landscape is pretty unique over there
Honestly, I read the Japanese for what’s going on in Japan for the most part. the U.S. coverage I do read is usually basic or from the associated press. When Abe was in charge, there was a shift in new coverage and they veered to what the government would have liked, if that tells you anything.
yeah, hear you and figured as much. i don't think ishiba survives much longer either at LEAST when abe was there, he was adept (at least better) at foreign policy than either of his successors. and weird question but have they EVER mentioned the shooter again? i don't see ANY news on that dude
