The devil here is that he is actually not breaking laws by having any number of federal law enforcement in DC. Home rule or not, every inch of DC is, at the end of the day, Federal property. They do not have anything like "State's rights" and he only didn't there because he actually can.

There are non violent options and they must be exhausted before we start killing fellow citizens. Withholding federal payments, confiscation of regime holdings in their states, massive pressure on state GOP, VOTE.

This is the setup for the midterms. The troops will not be going away. All we can all do, just carry on like we don’t see them. Don’t engage them. They are looking for an opportunity to declare an official martial law and cancel the midterms.
