Damn straight
Premature lol. C’mon, man
The DHS email in the X screenshot above does specifically note that the 72 hours excludes weekends, so my reading is that DHS plans to remove Abrego on Wednesday, despite also requiring his presence Monday. @reichlinmelnick.bsky.social What do you think? And could they detain him before Wed?
He should NOT report on Monday.
We should all go, and pull a Spartacus. "I'm Kilmar." "No, I'm Kilmar!"
He should go to D.C. and carry a rifle and they won't touch him.
That would literally get him killed
He's a man of color. They'd kill him and claim they were scared.
Will be interesting, since my understanding is that they can't take him into custody without that notice, either.
God they're such fucking assholes
Did they ignore this or just not read the footnote because they're bad at their job - who knows!!
The Trump DHS and DOJ are evil people.
Trump is EVIL. Republicans at large are EVIL. If only staged assassinations hadn’t been a despicable distraction.
Fuck that ...He needs the Lorena Bobbit treatment. His seed is bad.
The GOP is evil. State by state, top to bottom.
They can’t admit they were wrong, and so they’re willing to use the full powers of the state apparatus they control against a single individual out of malice.
It is working as designed. What, another protest march?
Yes! They cannot accept responsibility for anything.
republicans are evil people*
They’re terrorists
*The US is an evil, colonial, and illegitimate country
Trump is all that....🤬
He is a product of the soil he grew out of, soaked in the blood of millions of natives.
Why weren’t the millions of natives able to defend themselves against the European invasion?
Because our development was focused on medical care, political philosophy, collectivism, and diplomacy. Can't have a defense to foreign disease, foreign death dealing, and foreign deception. Are you by chance an overt White Supremacist, or just devils advocate for its proliferation?
Are you too soft to just answer a question? Seems like some of the focus should’ve been on defense because all that advancement didn’t do shit for ya. Native Americans would’ve been better off killing every white man that made it to shore.
Possibly. John Trudell talked about how the behavior of colonial violence is learned via its perpetration by another on oneself. When the old cultures, gods, and people of Europe were colonized by the Abrahamic Faiths, they then used those faiths as a justification to replicate the colonial violence
I’m aware of the victim becomes the perpetrator theory and I can’t say I disagree. Looking back they would’ve been better off not letting any of those dinghy’s ashore.
*smallpox has entered the chat*
While many perished to disease, it was not the only cause, for if it had been as effective as commonly thought, there would be no need for military campaign, food source eradication, and the residential school system; to wipe us out.
It was a systemic eradication. I stand by my stance of not letting anyone ashore.
It still greatly impacted the population. I know you know this, but there are accounts from newly arriving Europeans describing abandoned villages (as well as accounts of Euros raiding the corn stores) and farms left to run wild.
I’m aware. I suppose the better question is why didn’t native Americans kill all the white people before they got to shore because they should’ve.
I wanna start by saying the "Noble Savage" archetype is a historical fiction, but in general our people did live in a much more communal manner, many of our nations skipped the development period of feudalism & capitalism, & advanced directly to what can be classified as pre-industrial socialism,
Political/Economic/Philosopher Karl Marx termed this "primitive socialism" but I feel like that terminology is very dated & rather Eurocentric, even if unintentionally so. When the people arrived, we recognized a distant relative, lost, childlike, in need of help. We paid for that assumption surely,
because by and large they valued humanity enough to want to minimize warfare. everything white colonizers did was an exception, even for the warring nations such as the aztecs
*Government
Libs just want their buddy Obama back who deported 3M people 😂
The United States is the government. It's in the name. That's what a "state" is.
*Country, Ask any Native activist if they agree 😂
and ask all the victims of US interventionism too!
The "country" is just the land. That's what a country is. The government of the United States has always been corrupt, colonialist horseshit, but the country is the sacred homeland of many nations (peoples).
I'm referring to the US as a cuntry now. 🤷
That works online, but verbally it falls flat
I think if you say it Cunt-ree, it travels further, but the gag is rather visual I agree.
I feel like most native speakers of English in North America already make it sound that way. Some accents might make it sound like "cont-ree" though
For a brief period after the Civil Rights Acts of the 60s America was moving forward. Even back then, Republicans tried to slow progress like Reagan as Gov destroying CA's free education system because of "fear of the educated proletariat." Dems like Biden as Senator did their part too.
I’d say a country is the land, plus the constitution and laws. The land stays the same, but the country can change over time due to conquest or political events.
The land stays the same eh?
Yes, the land. The soil, the rocks, the mountains, the beaches. What’s on the land might change. What humans call the land may change.
At least 574 Nations to be exact. The "Country" is the US, it's the occupier of those legitimate First Nations.
The “hate both sides” vibe is tiresome and lazy
The next ha:nyö'öh who trivializes the genocide of my people and the theft of their land cause they can't let go of their baby blankie tri color rag... "No genocidal colonialism is morally good" - 🤡
Linguistic semantics, I suppose. I'd say the government is the occupier, a country is just a land.
It is a government Of the people, By the people , For the people. That is NOT the government as occupier- even this piece of shit Trump government.
That's the ideal
Semantics: the study of motherfucking meaning. like words do mean shit. Okay.
The power of life and death is in the word.
Allow me to settle this little back and forth. We suck as a nation, we suck as a people.
I mean, I'm not sure which nation is yours, but there are many peoples in the United States that don't suck that bad, relatively speaking. Everyone sucks a little.
We need to do whatever it takes to keep this wife beating, human trafficking, gang member who entered our country illegally in this country. Who's with me??!
You know you can just post any evidence you have of any of that, right? It doesn't have to be secret evidence
We’re all living on STOLEN LAND! We must return it to the First Nations
You're after forced relocation of human beings eh? Fascist
No I think he's talking about Governance. Most Natives don't want to mass deport people (with the exception of violent white supremacists and Nazis), but we do want an end to the European philosophy of governance on the continent.
it wasn't the USA though.
But the country still exists, it's just been ecologically devastated by greed.
No, the United States Apparatus didn't exist yet
The country is the government.
No, the government is a group of individuals, and the country is the land they claim jurisdiction over. A nation is a people, not a country or a government. Nations prefer their home and native (birth) land, but many have historically been forced to move by imperialistic governments.
We simply interpret and or use the terms differently. To stop confusion of this in my work I've incorporated a glossary in my book, which I intended to have finished this year. But that ain't happened yet 😓
That's ok, it will. I look forward to hearing about it.
People have gravitated towards calling sovereign states (government-military-industrial-border-control apparatus, not the administrative regions of the USA) "countries" as a kind of euphemism that draws strength from the natural allure of nearly any habitable country, independent of locals' manners.
The countries of my enemies are quite nice. In most lands, including mine, the worst thing is the humans that live there and use and abuse the land, and often enough, visitors to the land, and refugees fleeing from their lands, fleeing from hostile (to them) nations.
I have no hate for Canada (in fact I wanted to be a dual citizen of Canada), but the same names you said about US apply to any colonized land, such as yours. Decolonization gets to happen everywhere the British Empire took captives.
Did I say anything different?
*Republicans are shameless
Americans in general are. They have a tendency to try any sort of mental gymnastics to legitimate the US as a Nation State instead of a colonial occupation founded in genocide.
*international crime syndicate posing as a government.
*Country. And they're unbelievably stupid. Just look what they made Prezzidunt not once but twice!
It was just as genocidal last year as this year
Regime!
Nah, all of it. Evil. Getting what you deserve.
Damn, it must suck to have been so thoroughly beaten by a buncha pasty euro cave beasts, huh? That must sting.
Harder and harder to counter that argument these days - sadly!! 🤷♂️😢🤨
Natives only want to deport the Nazis, reinstate the indigenous communal cultures & governance over the land that was stolen from them. Everyone else gonna be fine. That future is coming whether they want it or not, & the transition will be easier with cooperation. I believe humanity will prevail.
Sadly, I’d believe they’d literally burn the country to the ground than ever do that. Republicans or Democrats for that matter.
Europeans frequently choose violence over peace, its in their nature.
I'm in the middle of reading The 1619 Project, and you can draw a straight line from the first 30 slaves being dropped off in Virginia to what's happening today. It's like the Confederacy won the war, it's all about white fear of anything and anyone not white and stupid, back then and today.
I'd recommend some material on that. "The Invention of the White Race", Theodore W Allen (2 vol) and recommend the addition of "The Great Father" abridged or unabridged if you brave enough lol, by Francis Paul Prucha. It details Federal Indian Policy and could bridge the gap between all 3 sources.
Not nearly enough people hung for their role in the Civil War, and reconstruction was an abject failure.
Illegitimate? Do tell
The US constitution declares Treaty as the Supreme law of the land, the land it occupies was either taken in genocide (illegitimate) or derives legitimacy via Treaty agreement. In the latter, the US has never fully honored a single Treaty obligation. The 2 combined = Illegitimacy via its own laws.
That is some good shit there. Thank you, I need that.
the united states needs to be purged of the entire republican party and all of their allies
It’s a death cult
And those countries participating in Theo’s human trafficking for money are evil too! This is 2025 for heaven’s sake and everyone is failing the moment!
Being the opposition and doing almost nothing (see Schumer, that's probably in line with Trump because he's proudly pro Israel*) is almost the same. * mind you, I'm pro-Israel too, but I'd be hardly pressed to let Trump win only because Netanyahu (of all people!) is fine with that.
Capitalist Americans (Democrats who gave record funding to ICE, like your politicians and Republicans).
Deplorable!!°
