It’s actually not statistically impossible. The same thing happened with Biden in 2020. Those precincts are comprised of ultra Orthodox Jews who practice what is known as bloc voting as instructed by their rabbis. It’s a well known situation in Ramapo where these districts are located.

Ultimately, they need recounts and frankly, it should have been done before the election was certified, but that ship sailed. With everything they knew about Musk/Trump, I was flabbergasted Biden didn't pursue it. The data findings show abnormality with the swing states and Texas.

IIRC counties in NY perform risk limiting audits as a normal part of post election management, but recounts require strong evidence of a problem. And at least in Rockland County it hasn’t risen to that level. The Senate candidate who filed the suit got less than .2% of the vote.

That source in particular (Marijuana Times) is AI driven crap. The NYSC judge simply advanced the case and did not actually order a full hand recount. The plaintiffs are asking for a full hand recount as a remedy, but no judge has approved that action.

And why should believe you that the case is weak (from another of your posts in that other thread)? Apparently a large number of the Independent votes don't show in the vote totals at all, why isn't that suspect?

I have no idea what you're talking about. A handful of Sare's neighbors told Sare directly they voted for her. She got statements from a few more than the county reported. Were they being truthful (or polite)? Large number?

My weak statement in addition to the challenges with these neighbor claims, I see "smart" elections misrepresent the case. Add crap statistics and other things in PR releases, not their court filings Big red flag. 3 of 4 plaintiffs dropped out, red flag bsky.app/profile/r5-t...

The candidate who is named in the suit captured 0.2% of the vote. Most of the precincts gave her vote totals in the single digits. There aren’t a large number of independent votes missing in any numbers that I’ve seen but I’d like to know what you’re seeing

Hugh Lander @quispme.bsky.social

Affidavits like this, where she got maybe five votes in total but seven people told her they voted for her, are automatically suspect because there’s an inherent pressure in people telling the candidate what they want to hear. Anything else included in the lawsuit is just static.

If Musk, Eaton, Tripp Lite, etc, did what was contended, they can do it again, and elections will NEVER be safe again. So the urgent thing is to prove whether the data is correct or not. So hand recounts are needed. If the data IS NOT RIGHT, then what will be done for the primaries. Paper ballots!

Recount the data. It is literally that simple. Trump filed over 60 fraud cases for the 2020 election and they did tons of recounts. Why is the 2024 data so sacred it can't be recounted? This is as bad as not releasing the Epstein files. Recount the data. Release the files.

You people are fighting the wrong battle. It isn't just about the data. It is about who had access to the voting equipment (hardware/software), who had the push technology, who had the apps to 'scrub' afterwards, how the changes were implemented, etc.

sep 2, 2025, 3:36 pm • 0 0 • view
avatar
DB Main @dbmain.bsky.social

Respectfully, I say it's you that's fighting the wrong battle. If we pretend that Harris actually won, we can convince ourselves there is no corrective action to be taken on policy, messaging, etc.

DB Main @dbmain.bsky.social

Also, respectfully, you folks seem like you think you're the first to think that machines can be hacked. You're not. There are up to 4 legislatively-mandated audits that are performed. Each machine is required to perform cryptographical verification of the software image upon boot.

The McNinny @allthemcninnys.bsky.social

I am a data architect by profession. It isn't just the hardware. People don't understand data models, data software, provisioning, how to alter data, etc. Advanced technology is worse because the trail is harder to track. Any app can be hacked. Pretending it can't happen puts us at grave risk.

sep 2, 2025, 3:59 pm • 0 0 • view
avatar
DB Main @dbmain.bsky.social

Once again, we're not "pretending it can't happen". I'll say it again: It can. It's why we have layers of audits and technological schemes to detect it. When confronted with the challenge of "how did it go undetected?" the conspiracy theories expand to cover it.

For years people HAVE pretended the voting system, because of the 'layers of audits', was sacrosanct. It can happen, many of us believe it DID happen, but it needs to be proven. Again, paper balloting is about the ONLY safe way to hold an election in a digital world that is EASILY hacked.

The McNinny @allthemcninnys.bsky.social

Respectfully, recount the data. If it is wrong, there is a problem that no amount of 'messaging' can correct. End of story. DHS found evidence of hacking in 2016, so no one is pretending this is new. I've posted about it for years. Older technology then (Add, Alter, Delete), Russia/China.

A) They got into registration systems, not election systems. In all the years you've been posting it, have you read the report? B) And yes, they can be hacked. It's why we have layers of audits and technology to detect it. Are you familiar with Risk Limiting Audits? That's literally a recount.

That was one link. There are more reports, more information. There was evidence of penetration. There were servers being established by Russia in the US. Much, much more. That was the older client/server technology in 2015, when Russia had an entire operation. 2024 was digital smart technology.

Not that I doubt what you’re saying but frankly that makes no sense…Why would they support the down ballot Dems only to abandon the presidential ticket to Reps? You’re telling me hundreds Hasidic Jews are the *entire* bloc and they ALL vote exactly as the Rabi says? Seems a stretch.

Oh I’m not doubting it entirely it just seems wild to me that the *entire* district are orthodox Jews. Like there’s not a single non-Jew Dem voter in these districts that would have voted Harris? In one district there was over 1000 votes counted and she literally got one vote. Very odd.
