I know how hard it is to leave. Twitter was my drug of choice, but I couldn’t stay there in good conscience. We all do the best we can do. I have to shop at Walmart but I never visit Hobby Lobby or Chick Fil A. I boycott TSC which makes things difficult for farm needs. If you can leave, you should.

After creating the 1st archive it didn’t include all my tweets. When I try to create the second archive I get 0 tweets in it. I guess there is some kind of X interval limit for doing so?
I think I understand. So you're using Cyd and choosing "Build database from scratch". It scrolled through your profile and saved 1400 tweets, which you deleted? The issue is, X refuses to show you all your tweets. You'll need to "Import X archive" instead. See cyd.social/docs-buildin...

I left the minute I found Bluesky. Never been in a Hobby Lobby & I had to work hard to meet all of my farm needs elsewhere so I could dump TSC, but I did it. I’m so happy I did. Had a friend that worked there & heard horror stories of sexual harassment covered up by mgt.

I'd love to abandon Walmart, but where I live, it's the cheapest place for groceries. That and Aldi's, but I can't get everything at Aldi's. I left Twitter when I got my invite to join up here and haven't regretted it. The people I liked there eventually moved here, so I haven't missed anything.

Far too many people on this site continue to copy and paste Twitter garbage here. I've had to block and unfollow users who can't get it through their heads I don't want to see ANY tweets or Twitter content.
I stay only because Federal and State agencies use Twitter. I get information, but do not engage. I share information on other platforms. (I use a very effective ad blocker.)

Well I haven’t completely shut down Chick-fil-A, it’s only about once every three months. Never Hobby lobby, never Home Depot, and never several businesses that I know are Trumper’s here in Omaha.

This is a valid question. I live 25 miles from the nearest grocery stores. I can choose Walmart or HyVee. If you’re familiar with both stores, you know why folks like me still shop at Walmart. It’s all about cost. Hyvee groceries are often 1.5x what I’d spend on Walmart groceries.

May reup our membership given current events-I'm now retired so could probably miss the long lines- just have to exercise some self restraint.
