Some background: I learned to ride three years ago, and bought a 2019 Royal Enfield INT 650. When I left my job I sold it, but I’ve really been missing the ride.

How did you like the RE? I’ve been wanting to get one… I love the look and the size , looks like it would be fun to cruise around on in west LA, you can pick up a Classic 500 for cheap right now.
love to see it. I rode mc's from 2015 to 2024, currently without due to lack of good roads where i live now and finances need to be prioritised. The INT650 is a great bike from what I've read and seen! You'll get riding again someday, i hope i do to.
Is the Honda a 650?
700
Oh nice! I finally traded in my Royal Enfold this year for an Indian.
Oooo tell me more
Love it, though I’ve only been on two rides since I got it. In laws have been visiting so no time. But soon!!
@poolontheruf.gg talk to me
ooh, love a nighthawk! just make sure the carbs are in good shape
A mid 80's nighthawk! That's a fun bike and has hacker vibes.
Get it, AM that bike is rad.
It has "Nighthawk" written on it so definitely
Yes, yes you do.
yes
Oh that is gorgeous.
I mean if you’re going in that direction I don’t see the harm
I DARE you. You won’t.
DO IT. That's a really good bike. Good ride, good looks, and solid parts/aftermarket support still after all these years.
He’s asking $2500, 23k miles
$2500 isn't bad at all for that, honestly. Mileage is a little high, but it's a Honda so it'll go six digits easy. It looks like a really solid buy from here (I've been riding 25 years, I restore old Japanese bikes from the 70s, and I used to run a motorcycle publication).
Also, I know you've been riding for a few years and you had that Enfield, but have you shopped used bikes before? Would you be interested in a couple used bike buying tips?
Ofc!!
When you go see it, ask the owner to see a cold start (POs can hide a lot of issues behind a warm engine). Check the date on the tires - even tires with good tread and mold-release whiskers can be 20 years old and hard as rocks...
Have the owner put it on the center stand or a jack and spin the rear tire to check out how the chain moves. Look for stuck links. Have a look at the control cables to make sure the outsides aren't cracked or worn through. Make sure the control levers move freely.
It doesn’t have a chain! But this is all great advice
Oh, wait, is this one a shaftie? You're golden, then!
Yes!! I’ve read a lot of people saying it’s super low maintenance with low likelihood of issues
Honestly, this thing is a Honda and even in bad shape it's bullet proof. You really can't go wrong with this one. Oh, and look at the lower engine cases, the ends of the handlebars, and any other bits that kinda stick out for scuffs or damage - evidence of it having been dropped/crashed.
More of a Triumph kind of guy for these cuts, but definitely a vibe.
Idk do you want to be super fucking cool or not?
oh that fuckin rules
