I wonder if the past few days will cause a Nobel moment for Shitler. Will he understand how many people look forward to his death, and change his ways in his remaining time? I suppose that would require a conscience and shame, of which he has neither? I do remain hopeful.

I'm all for any incentives (carrots or sticks) that compel companies to 'do the right thing', because companies (corps, not always small companies) will always try to maximize profits. If setting up incentives/penalities to pay a living wage, makes them do so, great...etc.

There IS a role for the military: 1) military personnel competing in events; 2) watching in the crowds or on TV. No other role is appropriate.
