TIL that perimenopause can trigger eczema. 🤯 I've had problems with acute dermatitis since college, but it was localized to my hands, and really only during the winter. The intense, full-body eczema didn't start until a couple of years ago...about the time peri hell began.

Yeah, that's what I'm guessing. I washed and put antibiotic cream on it immediately to prevent infection (the birds like that tree so...💩 and birdy diseases), so I didn't think it was that. Just probably my crazy skin being crazy. 🤷🏻♀️

I probably did it before I fell asleep, when I was all loopy from the benadryl. The finger is still swollen and itchy. 🤷🏻♀️ But it's not spreading and the symptoms subside with the benadryl. So, at least it doesn't appear to be some sort of infection. Just an annoying allergic reaction.

I was working in the yard yesterday, and I was hacking away at this invasive vine that overtakes the crepe myrtle. Somehow I managed to hurt myself on one of the thorns. It wasn't just like pricking yourself - the pain was crazy intense. It almost felt like I'd hit the bone, but it was nowhere near

I just watched volleyball with my big brother. No big deal. 😝 I feel more welcomed by him and our oldest sister than I have felt by my full sisters since I was really little. Btw my niece's team won. 🎉 Her girls did amazing.
I'm watching a women's college volleyball game for a university I've never even heard of...because my niece is one of the coaches and my brother texted me the livestream link in case I wanted to see her work. This is so wild. 8 days ago I didn't even know they existed! 😂🥰

I am so stupid. It's a bit cooler than it's been, so I thought I could get out in the yard to do some clean up. If I take adequate breaks and drink plenty, I should be fine, right? Wrong. I've taken breaks, both in the shade of the porch and inside in the ac. I've had 2 full bottles of water.
